I’m Caroline Hart and I have a love of the outdoors and being active which I want to share with you……………….
I hold my Mountain Leader Award and have been have been running the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme for twenty years in school. I train young people for the Expedition section of the Award and have run Gold Expeditions to the Lake District, Wicklow, the Isle of Arran and the Highlands of Scotland.
I regularly walk in the Mournes, but try to get to Scotland as often as possible to ‘bag’ another Munro or two. (These are the 284 mountains in Scotland which are over 3000 feet and I am ticking them off as a life time ambition.)
I belong to the Belfast Association of Rock Climbers and Fell-runners and we are always doing trips away with the emphasis being on being active outdoors……… I have even managed to get the girls in my Book Club to venture into the outdoors, and now there’s no stopping them!
I love being outside and I particularly love being active outdoors and now I run ‘away days’ and ‘weekend breaks’ for people who want to get a chance to do the same thing…………
